Meet the speakers.

Darrell Harrison

Darrell B. Harrison serves as Dean of Social Media at Grace to You, the media ministry of John MacArthur. Darrell has a blog called “Just Thinking . . . for Myself,”. He is also lead host of the Just Thinking podcast.

Darrell is a fellow of the Black Theology and Leadership Institute (BTLI) at Princeton Theological Seminary (PTS) and is a graduate of the Theology and Ministry program at PTS. Darrell is currently in the final phase of becoming certified as a biblical counselor through ACBC and is co-author of the books Why Are You Afraid? and Just Thinking: About the State.

Darrell and his wife Melissa have three adult children—Collin, Naomi, and Yasmine.

Virgil Walker

Virgil L. Walker serves as the Executive Director of Operations for G3 Ministries. Virgil served as the Discipleship Pastor at Westside Church in Omaha, Nebraska for 6 years and is the co-host of the Just Thinking Podcast.

Virgil has completed his Master of Business Administration (MBA) and is currently attending Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary where he is working toward the completion of his Master of Divinity (MDiv). In addition, Virgil is heavily involved in Jail Ministry, side-walk ministry at Abortion Clinics, and Street Evangelism. 

Virgil and his wife Tomeka have been married for 25 years and have three children.

Jack hughes

Jack grew up in the mountains of Idaho and later met his wife, Lisa, while attending Boise State University. Jack and Lisa have been married since 1984, are parents of 3 grown children and now grandparents of two. Jack received his Masters of Divinity degree in expository preaching from The Master’s Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry degree in expository preaching from Westminster Theological Seminary in Escondido, CA. Jack is passionate about expository preaching, discipling men, and equipping the saints for the work of the ministry. Jack has over 30 years of pastoral experience, is a published author, and when time permits likes to work on his personal website aimed at helping equip preachers and Bible teachers at

Jon Benzinger

Jon Benzinger is the Lead Pastor of Redeemer Bible Church in Gilbert, Arizona, contributor to the Redeeming Truth podcast, founder of, and President of the Redeemer Center for Church Leadership. Jon recently authored the book Stand: Christianity vs. Social Justice published by G3 Publications. He and his wife Katie have four children: Colin, Ava, Emma, and Jace.
