What to Expect
Visiting a new church can be intimidating, so we want to make your first visit as worry-free as possible. Here’s what you can expect on a typical Sunday with us at Redeemer:
We have two identical services at 9am and 10:45am every Sunday (even Easter!). We also have a Spanish service at 1:30p and a Vietnamese service at 7pm. There's guest parking in our north parking lot right up front.
We have nursery and preschool classes for little ones as well as Kid’s Church for 1st-6th grade (for more info click here). Check-in is marked with huge signs at the southern end of our campus and only takes about 30 seconds for first-time guests. We will print out a name tag for all the kids and a pick-up ticket for parents. We've tried to keep it fast, safe and simple!
The musicians will lead us in 4-6 songs at a fairly high volume (but not too loud!) so no one has to worry about what they sound like and so we can all focus on why we’re at church, Jesus.
A pastor will talk a lot about Jesus from the Bible, who He is, what He's done and how He still impacts our lives today. We use the English Standard Version of the Bible. If you don't have that version we'll give you a free one as our gift so you can follow along.
After 65-75 minutes we’ll wrap things up. We have refreshments outside or in the lobby (depending on the weather). Come to our Guest Center after the service. We will answer any questions you have and give you a gift to say, "Thanks for joining us!"
We hope you join us this Sunday!
