Elders and Staff
Jon moved to Arizona in 2011 after growing up in California. Starting in junior high, he knew he wanted to help people with his life. God saved him at 18 after knowing the truth, but living like God didn’t exist. After that, his desire to help people ultimately led to pastoral ministry and training at Vanguard University, Trinity Law & Graduate School and The Master’s Seminary. After being a high jump coach, custodian, college professor, a young adults pastor and a high school Bible teacher, he accepted the call to lead Redeemer Bible Church in March 2015. He and his wife Katie have three sweet kids, Colin, Ava and Emma, and a Golden Retriever named Riley. Interesting fact: Jon cannot stand any white condiments.
Dale was born and raised in Southern California and saved in 1996. Immediately, he began a lifelong, passionate pursuit of getting to know Jesus. Since 2005, Dale was called to be a care & counseling pastor and has done that in CA and AZ since then. It was in CA that Dale met Jon Benzinger and they began to pray about future ministry in revitalizing or planting a church together. Dale holds degrees in Organizational Management and Theology from BIOLA University and Talbot School of Theology, and is a member of the Association of Biblical Counselors. Dale and has wife Shawna have been married since 2003 and have two children, Noah and Kenna. Finally, Dale has had a life-long love affair with baseball and is a die-hard fan of the Los Angeles Dodgers, which means he is praying for the repentance of fellow elder Larry Ross and his disturbing passion for the St. Louis Cardinals.
Pastor of Care & Counseling
Larry grew up in Iowa and graduated from Iowa State University with degrees in Psychology and Sociology. He was raised in the church, but didn't come to genuine saving faith in Christ until 1997. Shortly after God saved him, he began attending Phoenix Seminary which ultimately led him into pastoral ministry, serving in many ministries, but primarily as a biblical counselor. He has been married to his much better half, Trish, since 1989. They moved to Arizona in 1990, and they have two terrific grown sons, Christian and Scott. His greatest passion in ministry is for "churched" people to become genuine disciples of Christ. Little known fact: Larry played baseball in college, it's still his favorite sport, and he's a loyal fan of the St. Louis Cardinals.
David was born in Phoenix. When he was five, his parents joined Mission Aviation Fellowship and the family moved to Brazil. After seven years in Brazil, he spent another two years in Ecuador before moving to Southern California for his high school years. David has degrees from Biola University and the University of Arizona College of Law. After a very short time as an attorney, he switched to Information Technology and never looked back. He spent eight years working in IT at Mission Aviation Fellowship, where he met his wife Vicki. He then spent another seven years at Food for the Hungry in Phoenix. Since 2011, David has been self employed, largely so he could work from home and have a greater role in raising and homeschooling their eight kids. His work keeps him chin deep in Internet technologies. He enjoys listening to music, playing games, and hanging out with his family.

Interim Students Pastor
Jacob grew up in Tempe and at 16 he surrendered his life to Jesus. It was during these formidable years, planted in a local church and through the influence of godly men that a passion for ministry began. Specifically, God instilled a deep desire in him to see young people meet Jesus and grow in their relationship with Him. He married his wife Jennifer and a couple years later they were off to Portland, Oregon. While there, he served for the next decade in various ministry roles including 8 years as a youth pastor. During this time, Jacob and Jennifer were blessed with 3 daughters. Recently, they returned to Arizona and began attending Redeemer. In April of 2017, God once again gave him an opportunity to serve young people as our interim youth pastor. Fun fact: Jacob enjoys listening to music, watching movies, and most of all eating a bowl of Mac n’ Cheese!
