Rick was raised in a Catholic home in Northern California, and the Holy Spirit made him a new creation in Christ in his mid-twenties. He moved to Southern California where God plugged him into a church and directed him towards Kids Ministries in various capacities. In the past 15 years he has been Kids Worship Leader, hand motions guy, class room teacher, and has also been involved in Awana. Rick became the Awana Ministry Coordinator (“Commander”) at Redeemer Bible Church in 2017 and even in the first year God blessed him with amazing club directors and table leaders without whom the program wouldn’t be successful. Rick is married to his beautiful wife Tracy and they have 2 daughters. The oldest Kaeli is married to Brandon and has a son Beckett. Their younger daughter, Lindsey, is in grade school at Gilbert Christian School. They also have an 80 pound Standard Poodle named Harley. Rick has a degree from Sacramento State University in Management Information Systems and is actively working as a Software Engineer in the Phoenix-metro area.
