Baptism

Jesus has called us to "make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey" all that He has commanded (Matt 28:18–20). As those who have been saved by God's grace, we obey Jesus as Lord by being immersed in the waters of baptism, and declaring that we have been buried with Him in His death, and have been raised to new life with Him in His resurrection. This is the first way we're called to demonstrate that we know, love, and serve Jesus.
