Men's Ministry

Welcome Redeemer Men!

Be sure to join the Redeemer Men's contact list to receive the latest ministry news and more.

Mission Statement

The Redeemer Bible Church mission is to help people KNOW, LOVE, and SERVE JESUS CHRIST. Redeemer Men is guided by this mission in all aspects of daily life.

We want men to KNOW Jesus as their Savior and Lord, and to live transformed lives within their marriages, families, personal relationships, communities, and vocations. We believe the Bible determines everything (2 Timothy 3:16 “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.").

The more we LOVE Jesus the more we will faithfully SERVE Jesus in every area of our lives (John 14:15), utilizing the time, talent, and treasure we have been given to impact people around us for God’s Glory. We have multiple ways you can connect and serve within Redeemer Men. As you participate, you will grow in Christ and will be encouraged and supported and will have the opportunity to bless and serve your brothers in Christ.

Men’s Breakfast

“And they continued steadfastly in the apostle’s doctrine and fellowship, and breaking bread and in prayers.” Acts 2:42-47
The Men of Redeemer meet on the 2nd Saturday of each month from 7:00-8:30 am. A hearty breakfast will be served promoting fellowship, prayer, praising God through song and studying God’s Word together. The cost is $5 for regular attenders and first timers get in free. Serving at the Men’s Breakfast is a great way to start meeting other men. If you would like to be a part of serving Men's Breakfast please contact Chris Sumners at chris@redeemeraz.org.

Acts of Service

"Let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth." 1 John 3:18
This team is designed to come alongside our church family when we can help meet needs like moving, maintenance work, cleanup, and various other tasks. We want, as a family, to use the physical resources, gifts, and strengths that we have been given to serve the body (Gal. 6:10). If you would like to be a part of this vital ministry, please fill out the Interest Form at the top of the page and select Acts of Service. If you can use your time, talents, and resources to help meet the needs of the body, please contact Chris Sumners at chris@redeemeraz.org.

Discipleship Groups

“Bear one another’s burden, and thereby fulfill the law of Christ." Galatians 6:2
Groups of 3-5 men who get to know each other by meeting regularly in a Christ-centered, Bible-based time of brotherhood and fellowship to encourage, guide, hold accountable, and become more like Jesus. Led by a mature Christian man, studies may include books of the Bible, and approved theological or Christian books or references. If you wish to join or lead a Discipleship Group, please complete and submit the application in the below box, or contact George Uema at george@redeemeraz.org.

Mentoring

“As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” Proverbs 27:17
Mentoring is a one on one discipleship with the goal of both men becoming more like Jesus. Through the guidance of Scripture and the wisdom as well as how God has worked in his life, the Mentor helps bring Biblical understanding and clarity to one or more situation, roles, or responsibilities of a Christian man. If you would like to be a Mentee, please click on the Mentee Application button below to sign up. If you feel called to be a Mentor, please contact George Uema at george@redeemeraz.org.
