Biblical counseling is one of the primary ways Redeemer Bible Church cares for the hearts of our people with compassion, wisdom, and the sufficient truth of God’s Word. Serving in this ministry is a profoundly meaningful opportunity to walk alongside others through life’s trials, point them to Christ, and apply Scripture to real struggles.
If you have been encouraged by biblical counseling yourself, or feel a burden to see others receive wise and faithful care, we invite you to prayerfully consider joining us. You do not need to be an expert to begin. Our pathway is designed to help faithful, invested members grow in the confidence and wisdom needed to care for others well.

Many in our church are navigating suffering, grief, conflict, fear, and confusion. Serving here is a beautiful opportunity to enter those hard moments with gentleness, helping people see how the hope of Christ speaks to everyday life. It is an exciting next step to move from learning about the Word to actively helping others grow in it.

The Heart of a Biblical Counselor
Those who serve are not simply offering advice; they are prayerfully coming alongside brothers and sisters in Christ. A faithful counselor listens carefully, speaks truth lovingly, prays dependently, and points others to Jesus. The goal is not merely to solve problems, but to help people grow in worship, obedience, endurance, and faith.

You will never be left to carry difficult situations by yourself, but will be fully supported through supervision, encouragement, and pastoral guidance. Your comfort level and abilities will always determine what types of counseling situations you will receive.
Who Can Serve & How to Begin
To ensure everyone seeking help receives consistent, Scripture-rooted care, all counselors must be faithful RBC members who complete our biblical counseling certification and a ministry application. Certification prepares you with theological clarity and practical skill.
