David was born and raised in Oregon, the son of a pastor who served in rural communities for over 50 years. After a lengthy career in technology and project management, he made the move to full-time ministry. David completed his master’s degree in theology from Westminster Theological Seminary, along with a certificate in biblical counseling from CCEF, and has led ministry in small groups, care & compassion, and children’s areas over the years.
Throughout life, David has seen God’s redemptive nature at work in his own heart, graciously redeeming and restoring him from both sin and suffering. He has a passion for guarding truth and God’s people and believes deeply in servant leadership and the relational shepherding of the people around him. David resides in Chandler with his wife Colleen and their dog Jovie. They are now empty nesters with two adult children and two grandchildren.
