Divorce Care Group

Navigating Post-Divorce

Experiencing divorce can be challenging and painful. With divorce being so prevalent in today’s world, it is inevitable that some Christians will find themselves going through it. While the Bible teaches that divorce is a result of brokenness and sin—something God grieves deeply (Malachi 2:16)—He also offers abundant grace, healing, and restoration for those who turn to Him. At Redeemer Bible Church, we want to come alongside those who have experienced divorce to ensure you receive the care and support you need. We do this by pointing you to the ultimate source of practical guidance and truth—the Word of God—which calls us to repentance, forgiveness, and new life in Christ.

What is Divorce Care?

Divorce Care is a weekly meeting that provides a comfortable, compassionate, and scripture-filled environment where you can connect with others facing similar challenges. You’ll receive helpful teaching and counsel from the Word of God to manage emotional turmoil, along with practical tools for decision-making. Guidance from Scripture will help ensure God is glorified through the unique difficulties of divorce. Additionally, you’ll gain a community of like-minded believers for fellowship and mutual encouragement.

Key Components:

  • Video Sessions: Expert biblical advice and personal testimonies.
  • Group Discussion: A safe space to share, learn, and process feelings.
  • Participant Book: A helpful resource for practical application and study.

You Are Not Alone

As the Church, we are designed to minister to one another through the Word of God. In times of difficulty, God offers the comfort and guidance we need by drawing us closer to Himself and His infinite wisdom and love. Stability and strength come from God’s guidance and a heart devoted to Him.

When?

Divorce Care is offered twice a year, in August and February. Specific dates are announced throughout the year. Please check back or email us for details.

Not Divorced? Please Note:

This group is intended for those who have already experienced divorce. If you are currently considering divorce or are in the process of one, please reach out to the church for a pastoral meeting. No Christian should face divorce alone. The Bible appoints church leadership to be a protective and guiding resource in this serious matter, helping to prevent unbiblical divorces and the difficulties they can cause. Counseling@redeemeraz.org.
