Experiencing the loss of a loved one can be challenging and painful. With loss being a natural part of life it is inevitable that Christians will find themselves going through it. Fortunately, God offers abundant comfort, healing, and peace for those who turn to Him. At Redeemer Bible Church, we want to come alongside those who are experiencing grief due to the loss of a loved one and ensure you receive the care and support you need. We do this by pointing you to the ultimate source of comfort, guidance and truth—the Word of God—which leads to a life-giving hope through God’s loving compassion.
What is Grief Care?
Grief Care is a weekly meeting that provides a comfortable, compassionate, and scripture-filled environment where you can connect with others facing similar loss. You’ll receive helpful teaching and counsel from the Word of God to manage emotions, difficult questions, along with practical tools. Guidance from Scripture will help ensure God is glorified through the unique difficulties of losing a loved one leading to peace and comfort. Additionally, you’ll gain a community of like-minded believers for fellowship and mutual encouragement.

You Are Not Alone
As the Church, we are designed to minister to one another through the Word of God. In times of loss, God offers the comfort and guidance we need by drawing us closer to Himself and His infinite wisdom and love. Peace, stability and comfort come from God’s guidance and a heart devoted to Him.
When?
Grief Care is offered twice a year, usually in June and February. Specific dates are announced throughout the year. Please check back or email us for details.
Need One-On-One Care?
If you desire more time to work through deeper or additional issues pertaining to your loss or other situations, please reach out to the counseling department to be paired with a certified biblical counselor. Counseling@redeemeraz.org.
