Part 1

course Objective

This class will give an overview of the themes and structures of the historical narratives and timeline of the Old Testament as well as the key words, outlines, key verses and people, and overall purpose of each book. This course will accomplish:
  • Creating a deeper understanding of God’s word
  • Solidifying the purpose and place of the Old Testament in the life of a Church-age believer
  • Give clarity on the structure and themes of each Old Testament book
  • Grow in knowledge and love for the Old Testament

Part 2

Objective

This class will give an overview of the themes and structures of the literature, poetic, and prophetic portions of the Old Testament as well as the key words, outlines, key verses and people, and overall purpose of each book. This course will accomplish:
  • Creating a deeper understanding of God’s word
  • Solidifying the purpose and place of the Old Testament in the life of a Church-age believer
  • Give clarity on the structure and themes of each Old Testament book
  • Grow in knowledge and love for the Old Testament
