Psalms: Songs of the Heart

Join Patty Zowada and Marilyn McLean in a study in the book of Psalms. The reason why Christians are drawn to the psalms is that they speak the universal language of the human soul. Above all, the psalms declare the greatness of the living God as Creator, Sustainer, King, Lawgiver, Saviour, Father, Shepherd and Judge.  As we come to know Him better through the Psalter, we fall down and worship Him. This study requires about three hours of homework each week, and class time includes table discussion and teaching.

Galatians and Jonah

Join Nell Eatinger for a women's Bible study on the books of Galatians and Jonah. Galatians: In the first decades after Jesus’ earthly ministry, Jews and Gentiles were believing the gospel. A struggle arose over what it meant to be a Christian. God used the apostle Paul to write a passionate letter defending the one true gospel. It clearly defines the relationship between Law and grace, and how Christians live under grace, led by the Spirit, free from bondage. Jonah: God used a reluctant prophet to tell an evil city of His compassion for them, and taught Jonah compassion in the process. This study requires about three hours of homework each week, and class time includes table discussion and teaching.
