True Woman 101

Divine Design - A Study on Biblical Womanhood

What does it mean to be a woman? The current cultural ideal for womanhood encourages women to be strident, sexual, self-centered, independent - and above all - powerful and in control. But sadly, this model of womanhood hasn't delivered the happiness and fulfillment it promised. The Bible teaches that it's not up to us to decide what womanhood is all about. God created male and female for a very specific purpose. His design is intentional and together we will to discover, embrace, and delight in the beauty of His design.

This 10-week study is written by Bible teachers Mary A. Kassian and Nancy Leigh DeMoss. Each week includes five daily individual lessons leading to a group time of sharing and digging deeper into God's Word during each class.

The Gospel of Mark

Precept Upon Precept Inductive Studies

The most important question you will ever answer is this: Who do you believe Jesus Christ is? With all the opinions floating around – He’s a good man, a teacher, a prophet, the Son of God – how can you know who is right? Mark’s account of Jesus’ life gives you the answer, and it is action-packed and fast-paced.

Precept classes are inductive studying, with 5 days of homework that is discussed at each class, and followed by a DVD lecture. It can be up to an hour of study each day (SO worth it). This 10-week study is written by Kay Arthur, of Precept Ministries International, and will take you step by step through Mark. At the same time, you will learn inductive study skills that you can apply to any study. You do not have to already know how to study this way.

Abraham

The Father of our Faith

Genesis is a book of origins, and the story of Abraham and his family narrates the origins of our faith. Join with Abraham and Sarah as they journey both geographically and spiritually through the Promised Land, walking with them through various encounters. We will learn with Abraham, Sarah, Lot and Hagar that God is faithful to us, even when we are not faithful to him. May our faith grow with Abraham, the man of faith who “believed God and it was counted to him as righteousness.”

This study is written by Patty Zowada of RBC.  Each week includes five daily individual lessons leading to an interactive group time of sharing and digging deeper into God's Word.
